Ironman Moo

Jill and I drove down to Madison to watch our friend Mike compete in the Ironman. It was sooooo inspiring! When we got back to Duluth we immediately started a workout plan :) Mike did awesome and finished in 14 hours and 34 minutes! There was around 20 Iron Mike fans cheering him on. It was so fun spending time with the Rambow family and of course Rachel and her nice boyfriend Jonas. Maybe I will start training for the half Ironman in Kansas?!? We'll see...

Mike, you are an Ironman! Gotta love my stellar dance moves at the end... haha!

New Beginnings...

My cousin Aaron and his wife Lindee just moved into the cutest little house in Duluth. I'm so excited that they are finally here. We helped move them yesterday and went on a mini tour of Duluth with Stan, Cheri and Katie.

The Rock

There is this rock by robby's place that we like to swim to in Lake Superior. Since it has been so cold here the water is still freezing.... so it is a fast swim. One time, robby was carrying his towel over his head while swimming out. His sandal started to fall off and he was trying to reach for it while swimming. I was watching him and had no idea what was going on... it really looked like he was drowning. Scary to me... funny to him. Anyways... I think we are going to swim to the rock today. YAY!

Farewell to my good friend Jen

My friend Jen is leaving on her 11 month mission trip today! This day came way too fast but i'm excited for her and anxious to hear her stories. I will miss her dearly and will miss all of our fun adventures... take a look at all we've done in the past year together!

Goodbye Jen! I'll miss you tons! May God continue to bless you on your trip... with showers, good food, internet... and of course the opportunity to share God's love with those you meet.

Hello From The North

Hi Everyone! I have been away from the internet for awhile (which is both good and bad). Camp is going great... I love it! And I LOVE being outside everyday! Robby came to visit and we kayaked around the lake. It was beautiful!! The weekends are quiet so please come and visit me!! :) I went to church today and the pastor and wife invited me to their house for lunch. It was such a nice surprise! Anyways... here are a couple staff pictures!

Up the shore

Jill and I rode up the scenic highway yesterday. It was a beautiful day! It took a while to get going because we had to do some minor repairs to Robby's new bike before we left. Robby just ordered a Cannondale on Ebay and it's really nice!! The route we took was amazing and so pretty. I LOVE BIKING!!
