Hello From The North

Hi Everyone! I have been away from the internet for awhile (which is both good and bad). Camp is going great... I love it! And I LOVE being outside everyday! Robby came to visit and we kayaked around the lake. It was beautiful!! The weekends are quiet so please come and visit me!! :) I went to church today and the pastor and wife invited me to their house for lunch. It was such a nice surprise! Anyways... here are a couple staff pictures!

Up the shore

Jill and I rode up the scenic highway yesterday. It was a beautiful day! It took a while to get going because we had to do some minor repairs to Robby's new bike before we left. Robby just ordered a Cannondale on Ebay and it's really nice!! The route we took was amazing and so pretty. I LOVE BIKING!!

Joey and a Campfire

So Robby really wanted to get some flowers for his deck and asked me if I would take care of them. I don't exactly have a green thumb but i'm going to try really hard to keep them alive. Robby picked out two flowers I have never heard of: a Joey which is a new flower this year and a campfire which turns bright red in the sun and resembles a cactus. Hopefully I won't let him down.

Can't get enough of your love...

So everyone wants to drink from this mug... it's famous! A competition developed to see who can do the most creative thing while drinking from the mug. So far... Alli is the winner.

Mom looks surprised that Mary loves her. How could anyone not love my mom... she's pretty much the same person as me.

This is Alli's way of saying... I love you too Mary but you are definitly not as cool as me.

Bear Lake Hike

Robby and I went on a spur of the moment backpacking trip on the Superior Hiking Trail near Silver Bay. We hiked all day yesterday and it was gorgeous outside! We had pb&j and apples for lunch at a lookout to one of the lakes. It rained some last night but was cool and nice temperature to hike out this morning. I'm sooooo sore from hiking- my pack was heavy due to my overly heavy sleeping bag. Of course, we stopped for breakfast on our way home at Betty's Pies.... so good!

Who do you love?

Renee spent the weekend with me. I made her a heart shaped pancake and let her drink from the love mug.

(I'm wearing Mary's shirt from when she was five... it's may FAVORITE t-shirt ever!!!)

I LOVE my "Mary Love's Me" mug. It's pretty much my favorite and I let all of my friends drink from it. Mary is just full of soooo much love... I can't help but spread it! :)

Introducing the Marmot Limelight 2

Robby got a new tent! He LOVES his new tent so much that he had to set it up in his living room. I asked him if he was going to take the tent down soon and he said "the only way I will take the tent down is to see how long it takes me to put it back up again." My suggestions is that we have our Bible study in the tent with our small group tomorrow night. I hope nobody is claustrophobic!
